1999 Dodge Stratus coolant bubbling

i have a 1999 dodge stratus and just replaced the thermostat cause it blew out cold air, now for some reason the reservoir tank bubbles likes the coolant is boiling. and it leaks when the tank gets to full. can anyone please give me any insight on this thank you
