1999 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my car is scrubbing and scraping. when i turn it makes a noise and its hard to turn....some people have said that it was the axle or the rocking penyon.....well the piece that allow the wheel to turn.....

Hi Melaniep,

Well it making a noise and hard to turn could be the Rack and Pinoin or could be the Powersteering Pump. Would need to take to a shop for diagnosis. Also have you checked the Powersteering Fluid?

Now the scrubbing and scraping does it do it all the time driving straight and/or turning. Or does it just do it when turning. Explain in more detail if you can.
