Rear brake shoe replacement

I am trying to replace the rear brake shoes on my car, I am having trouble with the brake self adjusting actuator. I do not know how it fits and I need some serious help and illustrations would help if you got them to spare!

Are you sure the rear brakes are not disc brakes?
