my 98 stratus makes a crunching noise when i turn left or right and accelorate.i think its the cv joints.are they hard to replace,and should i replace both axles,or just the cv joints?

Replace the entire axle. You have to remove the axle out of the car to replace the joint, and it is a PITA to do if you don't know how. Might as well just remove and replace axle. You don't have to replace both axle. Look at the boots. If both boots (inner and outer) of the same axle not torn, leave the axle alone. But if one of the boot (either inner or outer on the same axle) is ripped, replace the entire axle.
