can my waterpump needing to be replaced cause my car to not turn over? I read the book about my car & the last thing left to check is the waterpump. Im trying to find out will this actually get my car to start.

Hi there,
The water pump wont be your problem, what is your symptoms, will it crank and not fire up or is there no cranking at all?

Its does crank up. But doesnt fire at all. They told me to change the radiator cap. Did that. Then my battery was dead. Got it charged. Now they say my waterpump is broke, but im not sure. That doesnt sound like something that would cause the car not to fire at all.

Hi there,

Is this mechanic qualified? I would go find one that is, I don't think that he knows what he is dealing with at all. What you need to do is get a scan done and check for any set fault codes.
