1996 Dodge Stratus crank sensor

I have looked everywhere for the crank sensor. I was told that it was located under the front part of the motor next to the crank shaft. It apparently isn't on this motor. Can anyone help?

Check on top of the transmission bellhousing. It gets its signal from flywheel.
