Engine Performance problem
1996 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

my engine is hesitating to stay running and is misfiring I changed the cam and crank sensors, plugs, wires, coil for the plugs nothing seems to work. I am getting spark and fuel. What could be the problem or what do I check next?

What was your fuel pressure reading? Is it within specs. Are the injectors pulsing? If so, check the valve and ignition timing.

It could very possibly be something in the emmisions conundrum like and EGR valve or an O2 censor. If your timing is right and your fuel pressure is right, try the emmisions parts. It sounds to me like your car is drownning, either in air or gas. Have you thought to test your injectors? Maybe one is failing. Is your check Eng. Light on? If so it is more than likely an emmisions issue
