1995 Dodge Stratus tail lights

While driving at night both tail lights work properly but when I hit the brakes the left brake light goes out. I have changed the bulb and the same problem happens any suggestions?

Swap the sockets from left to right. If the problem moves to the other side, then your socket is bad. If it stays, you may need to clean the contacts on the taillight assembly.
