1995 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Automatic

I have a 1995 Dodge Stratus, 4 cylinder, 2.4 engine.2 of my valve cover bolt holes seemed to be stripped and the bolts won't tighten so oil is coming out of the bolt holes. What can I use or do to get the bolts to tighten down?

Expensive way is getting a new cylinder head, or you could try re tapping the 2 holes and using new slightly larger bolts there.

Put lots plumbers tape on the treads on the bolts but do not over tighten it will work, Declan.
