1992 Dodge Stealth ES, manual. 225,000 miles...Anyone have any tricks/tips on an easy way to track down the source of an oil leak?? I have oil dripping from somewhere on the driver's side of the engine but can't seem to locate the origin. I tried to follow the oil trail but lose it between all the parts and wiring.

it sounds like the oil pressure switch or as some call it the oil sending unit. it screws into the motor near the rear of the engine. look at a manual to find the location. it could be the valve cover gasket also. try pulling the cover down with the bolts a little tighter.

You can buy "dye tracer" and add it to to oil, that may help pin point the origin. Most parts stores carry it.
