I replaced the battery. but the car will not start. Do I need to do anything additional.

Is the car cranking over? or is it cranking and not firing up?

Check all fuses as the fuel pump may not be operating, check for spark, make sure you have not left a wire off the battery, if it was going before it should be something simple, check these things first.
