Engine Performance problem
1994 Dodge Stealth 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I had placed this question before, any feed back on it.
Here is my problem: I have a 1994 Dodge Steath that runs good, the problem is when the engine gets hot, suddenly it dies without any warnings. I cannot make the engine start again untill the engine cools down. Any Advise.

The camshaft and cranshaft sensors are prone to fail in heat. Is this a DOHC or SOHC?

THIS IS A DOUBLE OVER-HEAD CAMSHAFT OR DOHC.

Most likely cam or crank sensor. Cam is located on left front head near sprocket and crank is on vibration damper. The crank usually the one because of location gets alot of vibration and heat. When it conks out pull a plug wire and see if there is spark. If none disconnect cfam sensor see if it runs. If spark then spray some carb cleaner in air intake see if it fires.
