I just replaced timing belt / water pump due the old water pump seized and the car stalled. After putting everything back together, the car wont turn over. It will crank but it doesnt catch on. Confused as what it could be. Can you help?

Check cylinder compression, could have caused internal damage when pump failed.

Yes you will need a cylinder compression gauge. They cost around $40 for cheaper ones. You just remove one spark plug and screw in the end of the gauge into the plug hole, have helper crank engine while you read the gauge. Do this one at a time for each cylinder (each plug hole). Let me know the results.
