Thanks jdl im going to go ahead and replace the transistor I switched coil packs and the one I put in its place doesnt fire neither so im ruling the transistor is bad I know for sure the coils are good but if that doesnt fix it what else could it be? Ecm maybe even though the other 4 cylinders are firing correctly just power going to the one coil is not there?

Maybe that will do the trick. The pcm does send a signal to each transistor.
