How do I test the throttle position sensor on this car

1.Disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor connector.

2.Measure the resistance between terminal # 1 and terminal # 4 of the TPS. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/ELECTRICAL .

3.Connect a pointer-type ohmmeter between terminal # 2 and terminal # 4.
4.Check the resistance while slowly opening the throttle valve from the idle position to the full open position. Resistance should change smoothly in proportion with the throttle valve opening. If there is a deviation from the test results, replace the TPS. Refer to COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES.
