how do i test the throttle position sensor on this car

Throttle Position Sensor

1.Disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor connector. Throttle Position Sensor Test Connection

2.Measure the resistance between terminal # 1 and terminal # 4 of the TPS. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS/ELECTRICAL . Throttle Position Sensor Test Connection

3.Connect a pointer-type ohmmeter between terminal # 2 and terminal # 4. 4.Check the resistance while slowly opening the throttle valve from the idle position to the full open position. Resistance should change smoothly in proportion with the throttle valve opening. If there is a deviation from the test results, replace the TPS.
