I just bought a 93 Dodge Stealth ES and if it sits for a few minutes after running the exhaust begins to emit smoke and then if you give it some gas it eventually clears itself out of smoke. It seems to run fine and maintains a stable pressure and temperature. It does not leak at all. However, I know this is not the inteneded design of the cars performance and I would like to know steps I can take to prohibit this from getting any worse. I am sure that with it having 177,000 miles on it the engine is not tip top but seems to be holding up and before running out and buying a new engine I would like to salvage/prolong the engine in it now. Would "steel seal" be of any help seeing as how it is most likely bad rings? Thanks for your input and help. Also, when it comes time to get a new/rebuild engine, is it possible to put the turbo engine in this thing?

Most likely valve stem seals and worn valve guides. Does it smoke if you bring RPMS up high then let off throttle quickly?

What about putting a tt engine in it? It is the es 222hp 3.0l and the tt is 3.3l 300hp dual exhuast. Would it be a very difficult task or is it even possible?
