First, they need to recheck their work. They need to make sure the coils are getting properly grounded and receiving proper voltage. Next, is the coil actually bad? If you disconnect the coil, ground the neg side of the coil with a jumper wire and with another jumper wire attached to the positive side of the coil briefly touch the positive terminal on the battery, does it produce spark? If it does, the coil is fine and there is most likely a problem either with the PCM, a short in the wiring, or a bad connector to the coil.
