I recently bought a srt-4 and the battery is the wrong type the + is where the - needs to be so the + wire is attached to the - post on the battery the owner says its always been that way. the other problem is that it has an aftermartet intake and air filter and the tube rubs on the + battery cable and post. So can I leave it connected or is that going to damage electronics?

There's obviously a problem here . If the battery was hooked up back wards It wouldn't crank . Maybe it's just the battery terminal COLORS are backwards.. As for the Positive rubbing against the intake . With out seeing it I couldn't really give good advise except for maybe using electrical tape to separate the two . .
