Hello - I have a brand new battery and new battery cables. And a check was done on my alternator. After starting and running fine one day it just would not turn over , crank or start. I have had older chevys that when the starter went out and I could always hear the starter trying, sometimes it would catch etc. this car never did that any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi:
What I would suggest is to check for power at the starter when the key is turned to the start position. If there is power, remove the starter and have it bench tested at the local parts store.

If there is no power, check the starter relay.

Let me know what you find.
