hi i have a 1993 dodge shadow. overall, i cant complain about one thing. im wondering about my gas milage though. i've looked up the specifications, and i should get 26 in the city and 30 on the highway. i filled my tank up(14 gallons), and drove till i ran out of gas, that happened 238 miles after the fill up. so im getting 17 mpg's on average. i just tuned it up, changed the air and oil filter and changed the oil. is there any other thing i could upgrade or possibly replace to milk as much miles per gallon as i can?

basically, is it possible that i could be loosing fuel somewhere?

Hi there,

You have to make allowances for the age of the engine and the mileage it has done, your specs will possible be for a new engine, if all the tune items ate OK and there are no set fault codes, you will just have to check things like dragging brakes, tyres pressures and have the fuel injectors replaced or serviced as this is often overlooked and worn injectors will cause higher fuel consumption.
