Engine Performance problem
1993 Dodge Shadow 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 130000 miles
car was idleing high I unpluged the thottle position sensor and idle went back to normal. Does this mean the TPS is bad?

The throttle plate may be stuck open, a binding cable or binding throttle shaft or black sticky/ gummy soot that may hinder the throttle plate to close and let the idle air controle valve do his job.
You may need to buy a throttle body cleaner.
Remove it and find out what is going on inside.
