In my dodge shadow when I accelerate my heater doesn't blow air out of the vents. It sucks the air back in and blows it out of the vents for the defroster. What would cause this and how could we fix it?

Vacuum leak in the vacuum supply line, or vacuum reservoir. The supply line comes off the intake manifold, goes to the tank, and then into the heater control thru the firewall.
