1991 Dodge Shadow power window

driver's side window will not power down. right side works fine. checked fuse and purchased new one. still does not work. can you please give me the proper steps i need to take to check why it doesn't work that won't cost me an arm and leg? thanks

Hi:

It sounds like the switch is bad. If you want to check it, you need to expose the motor by removing the door panel, and then you need to check if power is going to it when the switch is activated.

All you need is a test light to check for power.
