The car is using oil about 1 quart a week. The oil is leaking somewhere on the back of the engine. It appears to be below the valve cover.

Hi:
On the rear of the engine there are 3 places that can leak, the valve cover gasket, the head, the oil pan. I suggest getting engine cleaner (follow the directions) and cleaning the old oil from the rear of the engine. Once you do that, drive it for a day and check to see if you can locate the leak.

Let me know what you find.
