in the morning or even if my truck sits for more than a couple hours .when i start it, the valves raddle or make a clanking noise.for about 30 seconds then stops seems to be getting worse

Make sure the oil is full and clean. also, make sure you are using an oil filter with an anti flow back valve. Have you ever cheked the oil pressure? Does the gauge show normal pressure?
