Universal joint.

How do you change the universal joint on the front axle at the spindle on a 2000 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4X4 5.9 litre 360 with 113000 miles?

Remove all the junk on that side especially the axle nut. Drop the ball joint and swing the assy out and away. You may have to tap the end of the axle with something that wont damage the threads. Snap it out of the ranny. (it is tough job) Good luck
