1997 Dodge Ram 1500 1/2 ton 2WD 5.9L. Mileage: 127600

I have several problems with my truck. First, whenever I first start the truck and put it in gear, I hear a metallic grinding sound whenever I give it some gas. It stops eventually. Second, whenever I turn the steering wheel, I hear a clicking sound from the steering column. Lastly, there are times when I'm driving down the road and the truck will suddenly misfire. It doesn't do it more than once, but it does happen often. Any ideas?
