2007 Dodge Ram Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My husband recently purchased some bad gas and his truck was sputtering and knocking. Since then he has purchased gas cleaner and other items to clean out the tank. The sputtering and knocking has stopped however his gas mileage has decreased dramatically. What can we do to fix this?
