2007 Dodge Ram Engine light

Can I disconnect the battery to re-set my computer as I have done on my 1996 Dodge Dakota, as my engine light stays on constantly. It even now won't let the RPM go over 1800.

Welcome to the forum, have it checked for trouble codes. You can disconnect the battery, don't know if it will help?
