I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 5.7 Liter 1500 SLT, with all disk brakes. SOMETIMES when appling the brakes the brakes will hammer or pound, it does not feel like the ABS pulsating. The brake light, ABS and engine light does NOT come on. I tried changing the brake pads, and also tried disabling the ABS system by unplugging, but the problem is still there. Could it be a bad master cylinder or bad caliper? It feels as if the problem is coming from the front . I would appreciate any imput.

Thanks,
