The alternator in my truck has died and I'm going to get it rebuilt. I've mapped out the alternator and belt so once it is removed I will remember how to put it back, but the problem is I can not figure out how to loosen the belt so I can get it and then the rest of the alternator removed so I can take it in to be rebuilt.
I need some advice to know where to begin to do this.
