2005 Dodge Ram RESTARTNG AFTER CAR SETS OVER AN HOUR

I HAVE A 2005 DODGE RAM WITH A 5.7 HEMI MAGNUM. THE CAR STARTS FINE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, BUT IF I STOP AND IT SETS FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR I HAVE TO DEPRESS THE GAS PEDAL TO GET IT TO START. IF I DON'T DEPRESS THE PEDAL THE ENGINE JUST TURNS OVER AND THEN IT SMELLS LIKE IT'S FLOODING

My first thought is a bad temp switch. This switch tells the computer the outside temp and the coolant temp. From that, the computer tells the injectors how rich to make the fuel mixture. If it makes it too rich, it wll flood and you will have to depress the throttle to allow enough air to enter the engine to start. Have that checked and let me know what you find.
