My check engine light came on this morning. The fault code was 0240, what is the problem?

Check code s again make sure u have the correct code
I do not believe p0240 will apply on yours

P0420 catalyst efficiency
1st check if you have an exhaust leak and if so fix it
check oxygen sensors and wiring
check catalytic converter
