My check engine light came on and when I took it to dealer they said I had no compression on one cyclinder. They said the cylinder was burnt up and the value needed replaced and they machined the heads and put a new valve in it. The first time I noticed a problem before the check engine light came on it started to shake off and on. Now they did the engine repairs and now it shakes all the time at 45 and even worse at 70. They say this is normal for dodges and is the torgue convertor. This is the dodge dealership in Dothan al!What is the problem with this truck?

Shaking is not normal for it. Has the check engine light come back on? Have you had the fuel pressure tested? Does it feel like it is still missing? Finally, have you contacted the arbitration board at Chrysler. They will make sure it is fix correctly.

I am not so foolish as to believe shaking is normal. Because Iam a woman they tried to convince me! What jerks! And yes the check engine light finally came on after I took it to the dealership 2 times for the stalling, and shaking. The engine light was not on when it first started and did not come on until another 1000 miles. I talked with the Chrysler rep today. They say the dealership is working with the Star tecnicians now and doing a fuel check. This was suggested to them 3 weeks ago! And yes it feels like it is still missing. This afternoon they told me it had problems on three cylinders. They repaired one cylinder a week ago and replaced a valve and returned it to me saying it was fixed. I drove it missing! I put another 100 miles on it seeing if it was going to get better. Now have I screwed up the previous repair. Yes I am talking with Chrysler and am going to a attorney if it is not repaired or some resolution before the end of the week! Chrysler certainly is moving VERY S L O W!
