Automatic transmission will not shift on its own

My 04 Dodge truck (5.7L) has the check engine light on and the automatic transmission will not shift on its own, It will shift manually with no problem.

Yep its sounds like the TCM computer is out. I would try a used one so you can plug and play. Here is the location (below)Please let us know what happens.
