2004 Dodge Ram no good

dodge ram 2500 truck was in an accident but not by me had a tire blow out on rear so probably lost control but since this happened i have had no power steering, works a little when truck is first started but after warming there is nothing but a loud whirring sound it does however have the steering while moving or if the engine is reved up help please

If the fluid is full, it may have a bad pump. Does the noise stop when driving?
