2004 Dodge Ram cruise control Problem

When I set the cruise control to say 60 MPH and I want to go faster, I'll accelerate using the pedal or accel on the stering wheel, the cruise control disengages? This never use to be this way. :(

I have the same problem with my 2004 Ram...did you ever find the answer?

check the vacuum line under the battery. It may have a small hole in it.
