2004 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My tail lights will not come on when brake is pressed but turn on when the head lights are on.

There is a dual element light for the brake light. Have you checked to make sure the bulb is good? ALso, have you checked the socket to make sure it is getting power?
