Steering problem
2003 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I AM REPLACING THE OUTER TIE ROD. I CANNOT GET THE END OF THE TIE ROD TO COME OUT. MY MANUAL SAYS TO USE A WHEEL PULLER TO PUSH IT OUT, AND I HAVE TRIED TO DO SO, TO NO AVAIL. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

HI there,

there are a few ways to remove the tie rod end, there is the fork that you can use to separate the tie rod end and the arm, its called a pickle fork, or you can give the arm a sharp blow with hammer and this can often shock the taper free, remember to use safety glasses as well.
