Sometimes when starting off in drive as normal the transmission appears to shutter. Whether I am towing a camper or not it would still shutter. This does not happen all the time. I change the transmission fluid every 2 years. I pull the camper 6500lbs approximately up to 1000-2000 miles per year.
Questions: is the shuttering a common occurrence with dodge truck trans? I have been informed by another dodge truck owner that he has the same issue.

If it is coming from the transmission, that is usually an indicator of the clutches slipping. Are you sure it isn't a mild misfire?
