I was having my rpms jump when i was going over 45 mph. I consulted a transmission guy who told me that my transmission was going out. I told him to go ahead and repair it. After he repaired it he told me it might act a little odd till the computer syncs with the new transmission. I drove i about 60 miles then i started to notice the rpms jumping... AGAIN!. My question is did this guy screw me or is this normal after a rebuild?

The trans shouldn't jump. Does it happen when it is shifting?
