2003 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Check engine light was on, found and replaced cracked evap canister hosed. What is the procedure for getting my light to turn off, provided that I made the correct repair.

Had the same problem with my toyota. All I did was disconnect my battery for five or ten minutes and the check engine light went out. If the hose wasn't the problem the check engine light will come back on.
