2002 Dodge Ram motor replacement

2002 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

if i got a 2002 dodge ram with a 4.7l, can i replace the motor with a 2003 5.7l. i know the exjost maybe different , what about the ecm,will i have to change that 2?

We recommend staying with a direct replacement part. You will have to replace the computer, wiring harness, vacuum harness, sensors, (Not sure if the trans is the same bolt pattern)...

Trust me, it's not worth the effort and expense.
