Heater problem
2002 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual

My 02 Dodge Ram only heats/cools on the passenger side. Doesn't matter what the selection is as far as the vents - the air is not conditioned. Could it be a vacuum line loose or broken?

hi:
The vent doors are run by vacuum. Yes, you could have a vacuum leak or there could be a damaged vent door. The best thing to do is try to listen for a hissing noise that would indicate a vacuum leak.

If you can, remove the control unit and try to follow the vacuum lines. Make sure to check the supply hose that goes through the firewall to the engine.
