Will start but won't idle it just stalls?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Also, check the EGR valve to make sure it is working and not sticking. Finally, have the check engine light come on? If not, you may want to check fuel pump pressure. Here is a How To video for you. If you don't have a gauge, many parts stores will rent them or you can purchase one from the test equipment store site on this page. They are not too expensive and can be helpful in such occassions if you do your own work.
