2001 Dodge Ram won't shift out of 1st gear

Transmission began slipping yesterday, changed fluid and filter, now transmission will not shift out of first gear....what could this be and how do I fix it.

check for codes
check speed sensor
hope u used ATF + Chrysler fluid
other fluid will harm the tranny check u r tranny dip stick for the recommended fluid type
