I have a 2001 Ram 2500 Diesel P/U, Recently, I had a check gages light come on, and the voltage gauge spiked a t 18, stays on for 5+ minutes then goes off, then about 3/10 minutes it spikes again, I replaced the alternator. but still have the same problem, I have done all the obvious, checked wires, Alternator, gounds etc. my Battery , Alternator shop said I may have a PCM failure, because the Alernatort. voltage regulator is PCM controlled, as this is an expensive Item any sugestions?
