Tryed to remove spark plugs and two (2) broke off below the "hexnut" leaving the bottom metal half still threaded in head. Another plug stripped the threads and wont come out!
How can I remove the spark plug and how do you remove the round metal heat shield, so you can better access the spark plug?

Wow! Sounds like a mess. As far as the heat shields, they should help you align the spark plug socket. I hate to say it, but if the threads are the only thing left in the head, you can try to use an easy out, but if it doesn't work, you will need to remove the head, drill the old plug out, rethread, and use a helicoil to repair it.
