To cut the story short. I replaced my spark plugs and wires. After replacing the plugs i noticed a bit of hesitation then just bad performance. After a few minutes of driving the truck it felt like it was misfiring, Then check engine light came on and started flashing. Now i havent checed the DTC yet. I rechecked to make sure if i had the plugs in the right order and all was done correct. Now when I went further to diagnose the issue. I notice the spark plugs i used where not the ones recommended by the manufacture. Instead i used BOSH Platinum plus (4030) which does indicate is for my make and model and engine size. But when i put then side by side the bosh platinums looks slightly shorter then the champions (the ones recommended by the manufacturer).
Now I know I pretty much answered my own question. But has anyone ever had this problem with a dodge ram? From using a different brand spark plugs other then whats recommended.
